  • Informs members and WB students constantly on opportunities in the field of study and professional qualifications, through the website or information during organized activities;
  • Is responsible for questions and requests information about WB students in every field;
  • Proposes ideas and projects on academic and career preparation and the changes that can be made in this area. Projects constructed in collaboration with the Department of Projects;
  • Strengthen the links between Higher Education and the Labour Market to ease school-to-work transition and increase graduates’ employability.

Njomza Sallauka was born in Prizren, Kosovo. She enrolled her academic studies at the University of Prishtina (UP), Faculty of Philology -Department of English Language and Literature (2011-2014). After finishing her B.A. studies, she continued with her Master studies at the same university and faculty, at the department of English Language and Literature as a candidate in Applied Linguistics (2016-2018). While in her Master studies, she was chosen as an Erasmus+ Exchange student to finish her third semester as a Candidate in Technical Translation as part of the Professional Master Study Program, at Riga Technical University (RTU) - Faculty of E-Learning Technologies and Humanities in Riga, Latvia (09/2016 – 02/2017). Currently, she is following her second M.A. studies, at the Master Study Program, European Integration and Public Administration University of Prishtina (UP), Faculty of Philosophy - Department of Political Sciences. She is currently Head of the Academic and Career Development Team at the Western Balkans Alumni Association (WBAA), where she is in charge of leading approximately a group of 30 members of a work team in completing assignment projects and activities. Simultaneously, she is also a Professional Volunteer Mentor of UNICEF development programs Kosovo CSR Network & UNICEF where Njomza contributes in empowering and developing young people by increasing the capacity and the ability to participate in the workforce, policy-making and decision-making processes, by implementing youth programs such as: Podium, Ponder & Upshift. During the period (07/2019 – 02/2020), she performed as an English-Albanian Translator & Simultaneous Interpreter at the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports at the Republic of Kosovo. Furthermore, she was also the Project Manager for the project “Promoting WBAA throughout "The development and promotion of training skills and competencies" in Western Balkans.

Milan is a Ph.D. in Food Technology from the University of Belgrade, currently working at the Spanish National Research Council in Valencia.
Within his higher education, he was holder of two European scholarships and he spent 6 months at the University of Gothenburg (Sweden), 10 months at the University of Milan (Italy). Additionally he spent 2 months in Portugal within the Pioneers into Practice and 6 months in US within the Work&Travel program. As a WBAA member, he organised 2 regional projects. His passion is to work on changes in society, career development of youth and cross-border collaborations.
