Aleksandar Vucinic – Montenegro
What is your motivation to apply for this position to become a Board member for the chapter Montenegro?
I think that I can significantly contribute to the WBAA. I have significant international experience; from studying, working, or leading organizations. I was the CEO of Organization of Montenegrins Studying Abroad.
What are your plans for being a Board member? (What is your action plan for the period you are selected?)
I am interested in expanding the regional influence of WBAA through our membership and good quality promotion. The influence would consist of two segments: 1) targeting our audience, 2) targeting institutions. It is important to have a solid, engaged base of membership, but it is also important to have a strong communication with corresponding institutions which could help us institutionalize our plans.
What skills and qualities can you bring to this position?
I have always been very passionate and energetic worker. Besides to-do list, I have always invested effort to strive for new initiatives while ensuring that day-to-day tasks are getting done. I am very determined and reasonable, especially about agreed deadlines and duties. I am skillful and recognizing and developing potentials. This is very important because we won’t to avoid any situation of crisis inside organization. We need to think in advance about educating and training our membership base. I will be dedicated to cooperation, understanding, and maintaining morale and building group spirit at all times.
