Open call for participants: Podgorica General Assembly

We are excited to announce the commencement of preparations for the upcoming General Assembly (GA). Scheduled for Sunday, 15 September 2024, in Podgorica, Montenegro, the GA welcomes the participation of 66 WBAA members.

Every WBAA member who is registered on the Online Community is invited to send an application to participate in the General Assembly. All WBAA members have received a message with the application link, which can also be found in the Online Community. If you want to participate, please apply by Thursday, 27 June, 12:00 CEST via the application form.

Selection of participants

The participants from each National Chapter will be selected by the respective National Representatives, with respect to the balance between new and active members. The new applicants will be selected based on the motivation of the applicant, and the active members by the previous contribution to the functioning of WBAA.

Please note the following with regard to logistics:

The costs of travel, hotel accommodation, and meals during the event will be covered.
Accommodation will be arranged for up to two nights (arrivals are expected on 14 September).
Accommodation will be in twin rooms (two people per room). Please note that due to potential limitations in the availability of rooms with two separate single beds, some participants may be required to share a double bed.
If feasible, we recommend traveling by bus or private car (carpooling is encouraged).
Travel costs by private car will be reimbursed on an exceptional basis upon completion of the reimbursement form and submission of the trip itinerary (0.28 EUR/km).
In the case of air travel, the Erasmus+ Support Service Team will handle the booking in consultation with the participants.

Please only apply if you are sure, you will be available on the date and will be able to attend the event. As places and budgets are limited, cancellations should be avoided to allow as many members as possible the opportunity to participate and not to waste funds.

Please be aware that a selection process will be in place, and submission of an application does not guarantee participation. All applicants will receive notification by 4 July 2024 regarding the outcome of the selection process. Selected participants will then have one week to confirm their attendance by registering for the event.

The General Assembly presents an excellent opportunity to delve deeper into the workings of WBAA and connect with fellow members in the Western Balkans region. We eagerly anticipate a fruitful and engaging event with your participation!
