WBAA participated in the Erasmus Generation Meeting 2025 from 3-6 April in Ancona, Italy, where it presented its work, networked with the Erasmus Student Network, and exchanged ideas with key stakeholders to strengthen youth engagement and mobility.

Between 3 and 6 April 2025, WBAA representatives Daniel Josifovski and Njomza Sallauka actively participated in the Erasmus Generation Meeting (EGM), held in Ancona, Italy. Organised by ESN Ancona and ESN Italy, the event brought together over 1,000 students, young professionals, alumni, and stakeholders who have benefitted from the Erasmus+ programme.

The meeting began with an inspiring and well-coordinated opening ceremony, setting a vibrant tone for four days of collaboration, dialogue, and connection. WBAA was prominently represented during the EXPO Fair, hosted in the garden of the University of Ancona, where it shared a stand under the umbrella of the Erasmus+ Student and Alumni Alliance (ESAA) alongside garagErasmus, OCEANS, ASAF, and EMA. This space allowed WBAA to showcase its mission, projects, and impact, while also creating opportunities for visibility, experience exchange, and inter-network engagement.

A key highlight of the event was the panel session titled Ambassadors in Action: How to Make Erasmus+ Go Viral. Daniel Josifovski, representing WBAA, shared compelling examples of WBAA initiatives and contributed to an engaging discussion on enhancing Erasmus+ visibility beyond social media, underscoring the power of collaboration and grassroots outreach.

Simultaneously, Njomza Sallauka contributed to the workshop From Volunteers to Change Makers: Your Network Squad Goals, which focused on transforming local ideas into impactful actions. Through collaborative work, participants developed concepts for events aimed at strengthening network visibility and youth engagement at the community level.

The event concluded with a festive closing ceremony, during which Aarhus, Denmark was awarded the title of Erasmus Destination of the Year 2025. Celebrated as one of Europe’s most vibrant and welcoming cities for Erasmus+ students, Aarhus became a symbol of the programme’s success and cultural exchange.

WBAA’s participation in EGM 2025 was a highly valuable experience that reaffirmed its commitment to youth empowerment, active citizenship, and international cooperation. The event reinforced WBAA’s network and visibility, while providing a memorable opportunity to engage with Italian culture and cuisine, enriching the overall experience.
