WBAA’s participation in the EMA General Assembly 2025 in Paris

From 16 to 17 May 2025, the vibrant city of Paris hosted the annual General Assembly of the Erasmus Mundus Association (EMA), a landmark event bringing together alumni leaders, volunteers, and sister organisations under one roof to shape the future of the Erasmus+ alumni community.
Representing the Western Balkans Alumni Association (WBAA), Dejan Galovski took an active role in the two-day event, participating in networking activities and collaborative workshops aimed at boosting cooperation among the Erasmus+ alumni networks. As a dedicated WBAA representative, Dejan proudly presented the organisation's recent work and explored new avenues for joint initiatives between WBAA, EMA, and other ESAA sister organisations.
Also present was Milan Stojanović, who attended the event as an EMA member, but also serves as a Board Member of WBAA. Together, Dejan and Milan used this valuable platform not only to promote WBAA’s mission and achievements, but also to engage in open dialogue about the role of alumni in shaping youth mobility, inclusion, and European values.
The General Assembly wasn’t just about networking, it was also a moment of renewal for EMA’s leadership. During the official elections, Marvi Qazi was elected as the new President, and Shahin S Eity as Vice President of EMA. We warmly congratulate both on their well-deserved roles and look forward to working closely together in the spirit of shared goals and mutual support.
As WBAA continues to grow, events like the EMA GA 2025 are vital in building bridges across alumni communities and co-creating a more connected and impactful Erasmus+ family.
