The first Election Results for Leadership Positions of the WBAA Teams are in, while the Call for Candidates for other Leadership Positions is still open

Last weekend elections were held in three WBAA teams in the Online Community, thank you to all team members who participated and voted.

The following people won these elections and will lead the new WBAA teams from January:

Mariglend Pepmarku is the new Head of Team "Quality mobility / student exchange within higher education".

Hatidza Jahic is the new Head of Team "Higher Education Reform & Equal access to higher education".

Renata Petrevska Nechkoska was re-elected as Head of the Research Team, as was Adelina Basholli as Vice Head of Advocacy. Klejda Harasani becomes Vice Head for Communication for the Research Team.

Congratulations to the winners of these elections and we wish you all the best in filling these important positions for the WBAA network. And a big thank you to everyone who stood for election as well!

We would now like to draw your attention to the fact that the call for candidates is still open for the following positions:

  1. Quality mobility / student exchange within higher education: Vice Head for Advocacy and Vice Head for Communication
  2. Higher Education Reform & Equal access to higher education: Vice Head for Advocacy and Vice Head for Communication
  3. Transition from higher education to labour market and professional life: Head of Team, Vice Head for Advocacy and Vice Head for Communication

Get actively involved in shaping the new WBAA teams and submit your application for one of these positions. The link to the application form can be found in the online community.

Please apply by January 4th, 12pm CET via that form.

The elections are expected to take place from 14 to 17 January 2022.

You can become a member of the WBAA teams by joining the groups in the online community: https://community.western-balkans-alumni.eu/
There is a group for each team in the online community, please go to the 'Group' section and make a join request for the respective group. You can take part in up to two WBAA teams.
