Vjoela Allkanjari

Candidate for Vice Head for Advocacy of Quality mobility / student exchange within higher education

What is your motivation to apply for this position?

On the one hand, I am aware of the difficult legal situation of the Balkan region as a non-EU member and how students and institutions have to cope with this hurdle. On the other hand, I am sure that I can make my contribution to improving legal standards and legal communication between institutions, among other things, because as a European lawyer I am very sensitive to the legal background of various issues, always with the aim of promoting the harmonisation of EU standards. I am also very interested in promoting dialogue between the Balkan countries themselves, as I believe it is still necessary. Not only do I want to do a good job for my country, but I also want to leave a good and sensitive impression on the whole region.

What plans or ideas do you have for the team?

My intention is to promote the networking activities of WBAA in the country of origin in accordance with the WBAA Statute and the description of this position.

What skills and qualities can you bring to this position?

I am an international lawyer. I have a good European legal background and can implement projects and programms in this directive.

Please describe your previous involvement with WBAA

I am a project coordinator for two projects in Albania as a WBAA member and I actively promote the work of WBAA in the region.
